Becoming: understood betsy.

 This month i am reading understood betsy. This book is about a little nine year old girl who go's by the name of Elizabeth ann. two women volunteered to take care of Elizabeth ann when she was just a baby. Elizabeth ann calls them aunt frances and aunt harriet. aunt francis always took care of elizabeth ann and aunt harriet was there when aunt francis was gone. one day the doctor came and did a checkup on elizabeth ann he said she was fine when he was collecting his things aunt harriet coughed she said she was fine but the doctor checked her and said that she had scarlet fever. aunt harriet and aunt francis had to leave so elizabeth ann had to go live somewhere else so she went to live with putney family in vermont. Uncle henry came to pick her up from the train station and said that she should drive the wagon.

Something that really stood out to me in chapter to is when elizabeth ann was driving she accidentally drove into a ditch. This stood out to me because it reminded me of the time when my grandparents took us to our aunt's sister's house. They let us ride their horses and i accidentally kicked the horse to hard so if i hadn't have pulled on the reins i would have ran right into my family just like if elizabeth ann hadn't gotten the wagon out of the ditch she and uncle henry would have been stuck there.

One thing i learn from elizabeth ann is we should always keep trying even though it might seem hard.
